European Court of Justice case-law affecting transfer pricing and the resolution of international tax controversy

The seminar will focus on the actual consequences of Hornbach-Baumarkt and Achmea judgments of the ECJ on, respectively, transfer pricing and mutual agreement procedures under tax treaties. Part of the event will shortly elaborate - as an update - on the ramifications of ECJ doctrines in the Italian Supreme Court case-law. The speakers will include a lawyer, a tax expert, a postdoc research fellow at IBFD and a young lawyer working at the General State Attorney office, which defends the Revenue Agency before the Supreme Court by virtue of Italian law.
