WIN Asia Pacific/IFA Singapore: Launch of Career Development webinars : “How I Did It!” (“HIT!”) The inaugural session!

As part of the Asia Pacific Women of IFA Network’s (WIN)  non-technical program this year, I am pleased to announce the launch of a series of Career Development webinars entitled “How I Did It!”, (or simply “HIT!”). 

HIT! will feature Women of IFA Network (WIN) members around Asia Pacific who will share about their own experiences building a career in tax, in particular:

• who/what inspired her;
• what being a woman professional means in her culture context;
• the challenges faced and overcoming those challenges and, last but not least
• advice for fellow women in the tax community.

 “HIT!” is an inclusive effort and is open to all women in IFA who would like to speak/share about their journey in navigating a career in tax.

Registration is also open to ALL IFA members!

 The inaugural session of HIT! (being held in the month of May) will be a special Mother’s day edition entitled “Juggling Career and Motherhood” and will feature Korea WIN Rep, Judge EuiYoung Lee, who is currently High Court Judge, Seoul High Court (Korea). This session will take place on Friday, 28 May 2021, 5pm to 6pm (Korea Time)/4pm to 5pm (Singapore Time). 

In addition, the HIT! sessions for Quarter 2 and Quarter 3, 2021 will feature interesting speakers from IFA Japan, Malaysia and Singapore branches including:

Farah Jaafar-Crossby, Chief Executive Officer,  Labuan International Business and Financial Centre, (LIBFC)– IFA Malaysia Branch
Makiko Kawamura, Partner, Business Tax Services, Ernst & Tax Co. - IFA Japan Branch and
Annalise Foong, Director - Finance and Tax Advisory, Future-Moves Group Pte. Ltd.  – IFA Singapore Branch
