In memoriam Bruno Gangemi

It is with sadness that we announce that Mr Bruno Gangemi passed away on 16 April 2024, at the age of 86.

Since he was a young lawyer, he was active in IFA as a member of the Permanent Scientific Committee and Secretary of the Italian Branch. He was also active at the International Bar Association, a member of the Confédération Fiscale Européenne Tax Force on ECJ decisions, Chairman of the Technical Committee, and member of the Panel of Experts on Company Taxation appointed by the EU Commission.

Bruno was a man of great depth with a bright and strong personality whose ethics distinguished him. He was one of the most authoritative figures in tax law in Italy as well as beyond. His renowned professionalism, wisdom and contributions to IFA will not be forgotten and IFA is most grateful for his invaluable contribution to our association. It was a privilege and pleasure to work with him and our thoughts are with his family.
