Professor Dr Jürgen Lüdicke, partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Hamburg and active IFA member recently passed away at the age of 63.
Jürgen Lüdicke was a member of numerous professional bodies, including IFA’s Permanent Scientific Committee, the board of the German Branch of IFA and two international committees of the Bundessteuerberaterkammer (German Federal Chamber of Tax Advisors). He was a member of the International Tax Group and has frequently been ranked as one of Germany’s leading tax professionals.
Over the past twenty years, Prof. Dr Lüdicke also lectured on issues of corporate, European and international tax law at universities, non-profit organisations and numerous tax conferences, including at the Annual IFA congress. He was a very active and involved IFA Member, both in the German Branch and in central IFA. From 2014 until today he contributed to the scientific work in IFA, as member of the PSC. Next to his active role in the PSC he was a regular participant of our Annual Congresses.
IFA is most grateful for his invaluable contribution to our association. We will remember Jürgen as an amiable IFA friend with whom it was a privilege and a pleasure to work and talk. May he rest in peace.
Our thoughts are with his family.
